New Additions : our most recent work, and/or images we have just discovered after traveling for months.

Owls : Owls are really our biggest passion.They have also been the focus of the
majority of our research. We have been fortunate enough to work with these
beautiful birds in NJ, MN, NM, NV, ID & MI. We continue to spend nearly
half of the year on the owls schedule,sleeping days and working with them
at night.

Upper Peninsula of MI : Most of our time in recent years has been spent at Whitefish Point in
Michigan's Upper Peninsula. This is a beautiful, often remote area of boreal
forest on the Lake Superior shoreline.

Lower Rio Grande Valley, TX : We have spent a few winters at Laguna Atascosa National Wildlife Refuge in TX
working with the endangered ocelot program. It is a wonderful place, and we are very
lucky to have been a part of this amazing project. For more information on ocelots and

Lower Rio Grande Valley, TX

Hawks : The diurnal birds of prey are another one of our favorite subjects. We
have had the opportunity to work on various raptor research projects
in NJ, PA, MN, ID, NM, NV, CA & OR. We always take time in
our travels to seek out to concentrations of raptors.

Shorebirds : This diverse group of birds often forms amazingly large mixed species
flocks on migration and on their wintering grounds.While some species
are sedintary, others make an amazing annual migration from their
breeding grounds on the arctic tundra to Tierra Del Fuego at the southern
tip of South America.

Great Gray Owl family : We had the privilege of being able to observe the 2nd Great Gray Owl nest ever found in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. It was an amazing experience, and we learned a great deal about the biology of this fascinating species.
